Massive uprising in PoJK, a fight for freedom: Shiv Sena

Dozens of Shinde faction workers join Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Jun 11: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has taken a strong and aggressive stand on the ongoing unrest and violent crackdown by the Islamabad regime in Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK).

The party stated that the blood being shed on the streets of PoJK is proof that Pakistan has become a violent, oppressive and failed state, and that its downfall is drawing closer.

Speaking during a joining programme held at the party’s state office, Shiv Sena J&K President Manish Sahni expressed serious concern over the current situation in PoJK and said that the uprising there has now transformed into a mass movement against Pakistan’s oppressive policies.

Sahni said that the blood of innocent people flowing on the streets of PoJK is evidence of Pakistan’s brutality and failure as a nation.

Referring to the reported casualties, he stated, “The martyrdom of more than 30 of our Kashmiri brothers and injuries to over 200 people is not a minor incident. It is nothing short of a massacre being carried out by Pakistan’s military and rulers. Islamabad must understand that bullets and batons can no longer suppress this tide of public anger. The spark has turned into a wildfire.”

Sahni further alleged that unarmed citizens demanding basic necessities such as flour, electricity and water have been met with bullets from Pakistani Rangers and police forces. He added that mobile and internet services have reportedly been suspended across the region in an attempt to hide the truth from the world.

Saluting the courage of the protesters, Sahni said that the movement has not slowed down. What began in Rawalakot has now expanded towards Muzaffarabad, and the people appear determined to challenge Islamabad’s authority.

He asserted that this is not merely a civil disturbance but a struggle for freedom. According to him, the people of PoJK are no longer willing to live under what he described as Pakistan’s oppressive rule and are seeking complete freedom from it.

Concluding his remarks, Sahni said, “The uprising in PoJK is not going to stop. The world is witnessing the signs of a historic transformation. The full picture is yet to unfold, and its climax will be completed only with the Indian Tricolour.”

During the joining programme held at the party’s state office, dozens of workers associated with the Shinde faction, along with their supporters, joined Shiv Sena (UBT).

Welcoming the new entrants, J&K President Manish Sahni said that the growing faith of people in Shiv Sena (UBT) across Jammu and Kashmir reflects the party’s commitment to public welfare and its continuous struggle on issues concerning the common people.

The newly inducted members stated that they were inspired by the leadership of Manish Sahni and the ideology of Shiv Sena (UBT). They pledged to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and take the party’s policies and message to every section of society.

The party leadership described the development as a significant step towards organisational expansion in Kashmir and expressed confidence that many more people would join Shiv Sena (UBT) in the coming days.
