JAMMU, Jul 11 (Agencies): Former Member of Legislative Council of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary on Tuesday resigned from the BJP and joined the National Conference.
Soon after quit the party, Choudhary tweeted, “Gud bye BJP. Rainder Raina (J&K BJP chief) enjoy with your “parivharbad” and corruption.”
Choudhary, who earlier was in PDP, had lost the Assembly seat from Naushera constituency to BJP candidate Ravinder Raina in 2014 elections.
He joined the BJP last year.
Choudhary however, in the presence of former chief minister and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdhullah joined the party at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan here.
