Three die after vehicle plunges into Chenab in J&K’s Ramban

RAMBAN,, Jul 7 (Agencies): Three persons died after a car plunged into the Chenab River in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Reports quoting an official said a vehicle bearing registration number JK 19 9605 met with an accident and rolled down into Chenab River in the Mehar area of the district.

He said a rescue operation was launched immediately.

However, three occupants of the vehicle were found dead and their bodies were retrieved from the water body.

The deceased were identified as Bharat Singh (52), son of Tej Ram R/O Teli Majra Seri Ramban, Vikram Singh (30) S/O Bharat Singh R/O Teli Majra Seri Ramban and Rohit Katoch (17) S/O Surjit Katoch R/o Gali bas Ramban.
