JAMMU, Feb 1: Sahib Kabir’s arrival as well as departure from the universe has been miraculous. When Ashta Nandji, the disciple of Rama Nandji, was engrossed in meditation on the bank of Lahartara pond of Kashi, a rare kind of white light descended from the sky. Ashta Nandji’s eyes got opened. He saw that light assuming the form of a small child on a lotus flower. He was astonished to see all this & narrated the whole incident to RamaNandji. The latter at once guessed that it was not an ordinary kind of miracle & said that the world would come to know of the greatness of that child in the time to come.
As per chance, Neeru alongwith Neema had been passing that way after his first visit to his in-laws house. Neema felt thirsty & went to the pond to quench her thirst.
There she saw Sahib Kabir moving about his hands & feet. She was startled at seeing such a beautiful child. Her motherly love made her carry the child. Neeru asked whom she had brought with her. She said that she had found that beautiful child in the pond. Perhaps someone had left him there. Neeru asked her to throw him away. Neema expressed her reluctance to leave such a beautiful child. Neeru tried to make her understand that they would become a laughing stock of the people if they took the child alongwith them. They will say that they had a child even before the solemnisation of their marriage. But when Neema didn’t agree to leave the child, Neeru began to thrash her. Reluctantly, Neema went to leave the child.
Then Sahib Kabir said that he had appeared before them on account of love he had for them during their previous birth. He asked them to take him alongwith them saying he would tell them the way to seek salvation. Hearing these words, Neema became fearless & Neeru also became silent. Both of them brought home the child happily. Neeru began to tell everyone how they had found the child. But the worldly people are very cruel. All began to make a fun of them. None seemed to believe them.
Kabir means that which has no body. From the early childhood, Kabir Sahib began to give the people the message of truth. He gave the message of the worship of the satguru that was altogether different from that of Sagun as well as the Nirgun.
Prior to him, all the yogeshwars, incarnations or other enlightened persons gave to the world the message related to the Sagun or the Nirgun kind of worship. This is because they had come to the universe from the limit of 3 lokas. How could they say anything about that which lay beyond. On the other hand, Sahib Kabir had come to the universe from the 4th loka that lies beyond the limit of 3 lokas. None can reach that loka through Sagun or Nirgun kind of worship. It is only the satguru who can help a devotee reach there. That is why he gave the message of ‘Satguru Bhakti’. There was no word like ‘Satguru’ prior to him. Only the word ‘guru’ was prevalent. The guru had the knowledge related to the 3 lokas. He was a family holder. But he had no information about Param Purush or Amarlok. Sahib Kabir told the universe about ‘Satguru’ who has a full knowledge of Param Purush & has a Paras Surti with him.
All great man of the universe had to struggle hard during their life time. This is because a true sage can never please whole of the universe. The hypocrites oppose him whenever they are criticised.
Due to the opposition of the hypocrites, the people of the world had misconceptions about Kabir Sahib. At the end, Kabir Sahib thought that he would walk by showing the people of the world. He did a miracle. They left for Magar from Kashi. Raja Veer Singh Baghel of Kashi and Nawab Bijli Khan of Awadh were also present there. Both of them were disciples of Sahib Kabir and both wanted to perform the last rites of Kabir Sahib according to their religion. They were ready to fight. The winner was to take possession of Kabir Sahib’s body. Both took out swords. Meanwhile, Sahib Kabir performed a miracle. A wonderful white light appeared and a sky appeared. Said, you fools! You both didn’t recognize me. Lift the sheet and see that there is no body underneath. When the sheet was removed, no body was found. The flowers offered by the devotees were received.
The Hindus made a mausoleum with the same flower and the Muslims made a majar, which is still present at Maghar and is testifying that Kabir Sahib did not bring the body from the mother’s womb. He had come from the immortal world by the will of the Satya Purush to take the living beings to their own land, the immortal world.
