JAMMU, Oct 6: Joining of new faces in Aam Aadmi Party gained more momentum in Jammu with several prominent social activist joined Aam Aadmi Party during a joining event, here on Thursday.
This event was presided over by Aam Aadmi Party’s Jammu Urban president, Dixit Gupta with Vice President Rajiv Mahajan and other senior leaders of party were also present in the event.
On this occasion, several social activists joined Aam Aadmi Party who include Raj Kumar, Raul Pal Sharma, Babu Ram, Yash pal Sharma, Rahul Kumar, Shubam Kumar, Vipin Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Sanjit Mahajan, Sunil Kumar, Ram Kumar, Deepu Kumar, Deepak Gupta, Vivek Sharma, Vicky Singh, Sonu Kumar and others.
Welcoming the entrants, Dixit Gupta and Rajiv Mahajan said that hundreds of prominent social activists, civil society members and political leaders have joined Aam Aadmi Party in recent days in Jammu and Kashmir which clearly shows that party is gaining more and more strength on grass root level and day is not far when people will vote Aam Aadmi Party to power.
They added that that constructive governance model, development model and especially healthcare, education model implemented by Aam Aadmi Party is now the core of politics in entire country and everyone is looking at Aam Aadmi Party headed by Arvind Kejriwal as the only option available to end public issues.
They further said that many new faces are set to join Aam Aadmi Party in Jammu in days to come.
Addressing the media, newly joined members said that the motive behind joining the party is to become a part of revolution which is ensuing in Jammu and Kashmir in the form of Aam Aadmi Party.
They added that policies and programmes of Aam Aadmi Party are pro-public and this is the only political platform where public grievances find appropriate takers and AAP works in a pro people manner addressing the grievances of masses and working model of government has realised the claims and slogans of development in Delhi and Punjab.
They said that people in Jammu and Kashmir are in a state of uncertainty with BJP has damaged everything from democracy to employment and people want to come out of this through Aam Aadmi Party.
