Jammu traders’ body protests, demands revival of ‘Darbar Move’

JAMMU, SEP 28: Jammu traders’ body including transporters, hoteliers, traders, shopkeepers held a protest demonstration and demanded revival of ‘Darbar Move’.
The trade body members assembled at Prade Ground while chanting slogans and holding placards.
The traders, presidents of Ragunath Bazar, Purani Mandi, city Chowk, Raj Tilk road, Link road, Jain bazaar, Moti bazaar, Prade, Mohalla Pahariena, Shalamar, Gumat, Jewel Chowk bazaar joined the protest.
The traders warned of strong agitation if Darbar move is restored this year. While addressing protestors, Sunil Dimple said the traders are united now and J&K LG Manoj Sinaha should order the revival of ‘Darbar Move’ in the interest of general public, traders, transporters and big and small business units.
Dimple alleged the stoppage of Darbar Move is murder of the trade, business, hoteliers, transporters, vegetable, fruit industries of Jammu Kashmir.
He said Darbar Move was a symbol of communal harmony, brotherhood and emotional love bonding between Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
He appealed all the political parties and all traders, transporters unions to unite together in the demand to restore ‘Darber Move’.
