JAMMU / CHANDAK, Nov 5: Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Poonch, organised a Block-Level Neighbourhood Youth Parliament at Govt. Higher Secondary School Chandak under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.”
The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 170 students and youth club members. Amil Hussain Principal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Tafeez Khan, Incharge, Drug De-addiction Centre, Poonch, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Resource persons from the Medical and Education Departments sensitised participants about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
The programme was conducted by Udaan Mahila Mandal Chandak affiliated with MY Bharat Kendra Poonch.
The programme concluded with a collective commitment to promote a drug-free India and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
