SHIMLA, Jun 2: Director General of the National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla S. Alok paid a courtesy call on Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Alok briefed the Governor on the Academy’s training, capacity-building and research initiatives for officers of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department and other institutions, aimed at strengthening professional competence, financial accountability and public financial management.
The Governor said that institutions engaged in training and capacity building play a crucial role in strengthening governance and ensuring transparency in public administration. He emphasized the importance of adopting innovative approaches, leveraging technology and promoting continuous learning to enhance efficiency, accountability and service delivery in government institutions. Later, Alok presented a memento to the Governor on the occasion.
