RAJOURI, Oct 24: The Indian Army organised an informative and motivational lecture on “Career Opportunities for Youth in the Armed Forces” at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Badhal, Rajouri District. The initiative aimed to educate and inspire young students to explore rewarding career opportunities in the Indian Defence Forces and serve the nation with pride and dedication.
The lecture provided valuable insights into various entry schemes and career prospects in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Students were briefed on eligibility criteria, recruitment procedures, selection processes, training requirements and career progression. Special emphasis was placed on discipline, leadership, patriotism and the importance of dedicated service to the nation.
A total of 40 students, comprising 21 girls and 19 boys, along with three teachers, attended the programme. The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students actively seeking clarification on recruitment opportunities and professional growth.
The students and school staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for organising the informative session.
Through such initiatives under its continued outreach efforts, the Indian Army remains committed to empowering youth in remote areas, nurturing aspirations and encouraging their meaningful contribution towards nation-building.
