JAMMU, Oct 17 (Agencies): As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen security and maintain vigilance, Ramban Police on Saturday conducted a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at the residences of Jammu and Kashmir National Over Ground Workers (JKNOPs) and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in the Khari area of Ramban district.
During the operation, police checked mobile phones belonging to family members as part of security-related verification. The family members were also sensitised about the importance of remaining vigilant and advised to promptly inform the police about any suspicious international calls or communications.
The operation was aimed at strengthening security surveillance and ensuring public safety in the area.
Ramban Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and order, strengthening the security grid and ensuring the safety and security of the general public.
