RAMGARH, Oct 15: Former Minister Yashpal Kundal has been appointed President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Vichar Vibhag, marking a significant organisational responsibility for the senior Congress leader. The appointment has generated enthusiasm among his supporters.
The Congress high command has approved Kundal’s appointment as part of its organisational decisions concerning Vichar Vibhag presidents in various states. The appointment takes effect immediately.
Kundal is known for his political experience, clean public image and consistent focus on issues affecting ordinary citizens. His grassroots connect and active engagement in public affairs are seen as important factors behind the party leadership’s decision to entrust him with this responsibility.
