A highly qualified and accomplished educationist, Ms. Kour brings over 15 years of valuable experience in teaching, academic coordination, curriculum development and educational management. Prior to joining DPS Junior Kathua, Kour served as Academic Coordinator at St. Mary Senior Secondary Convent School, Faridabad, where she played a significant role in strengthening academic standards, implementing effective teaching strategies and coordinating scholastic and co curricular activities. Her responsibilities included strategic academic planning, curriculum implementation, teacher mentoring, monitoring student performance and fostering meaningful collaboration between teachers and parents.
Throughout her professional career, she has gained extensive teaching and administrative experience across several reputed educational institutions, including Kendriya Vidyalaya. Her diverse professional exposure has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of educational leadership, classroom management, student engagement and contemporary teaching practices.
Academically, Kour holds a Master of Science degree in Botany from the University of Kashmir and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Jammu. She has also qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Her academic credentials are further enriched by research experience in the regeneration of threatened medicinal herbs of the Kashmir Himalayas, reflecting her strong foundation in scientific inquiry and academic research.
In addition to her teaching and administrative responsibilities, she has contributed to academic evaluation and assessment through her involvement in CBSE Board examinations in various capacities, including examination coordination, evaluation and practical examination duties.
