SRINAGAR, Oct 5 (Agencies): Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness cloudy weather along with light rain and snow over the next 10 days, according to an advisory issued by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday.
The advisory also urged farmers in J&K to ensure safe storage of apple and paddy crops between October 6 and 10.
According to the Meteorological Centre, the weather is likely to stay mainly dry today, October 5.
However, the MeT said a change in weather is expected from tomorrow, October 6, as skies are predicted to turn partly to generally cloudy for the next five days, till October 10. Light rain is expected across the union territory, coupled with light snow over the higher reaches. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also likely at many places during this period.
From October 11 to 15, the weather will remain partly cloudy, the advisory said.
