UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Udhampur under the guidance of Chairman, Kalpana Revo, (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge) Udhampur and overall supervision of Secretary, Sumati Sharma, DLSA Udhampur observed Gandhi Jayanti, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with active participation of the judicial officers and officials of the District Court Udhampur.
The cleanliness drive was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, whose vision of a clean and healthy India continues to inspire citizens across the country. The participants undertook cleanliness activities within and around the District Court Complex and emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public institutions.
On this occasion pledge was taken by Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur Kalpana Revo, along with judicial officers and officials of courts on this day the significance of Gandhi Jayanti was highlighted cleanliness in creating a healthy, dignified, and conducive environment for litigants, advocates, court staff and visitors.
She called upon all concerned to make cleanliness a regular practice and to contribute towards realizing the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The participants also took a pledge to maintain cleanliness and to encourage others to adopt responsible sanitation and waste-management practices.
The programme concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment of the District Court, Udhampur, towards cleanliness, hygiene and environmental responsibility.
Similar programme was organised by all tehsils, Ramnagar, Chenani and Majalta.
