RAMNAGAR, Sep 22: The Intercollegiate Annual Yoga Men Championship was held at the University of Jammu on 14th September 2026, in which the team representing Government Degree College Ramnagar delivered an impressive performance and secured the Overall Runner-Up Championship.
The GDC Ramnagar team comprised Ajay Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Jeevan Kumar. Demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline and dedication, the team brought laurels to the institution by securing the overall runner-up position.
Adding another achievement to the college’s success, Ajay Kumar won the Individual Gold Medal in the championship.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Director of Physical Education and Sports, GDC Ramnagar, served as the Coach and Team Manager of the college contingent.
Principal Prof. Daljeet Singh Manhas congratulated the players, coach and the entire team for their commendable performance. He appreciated the dedication and hard work of the students and expressed his best wishes for their future sporting achievements.
