JAMMU / MOHALI, Sep 7: The T10 Cricket India Federation has officially launched the Super T10 League, a new professional T10 cricket competition aimed at providing emerging and grassroots cricketers with a structured platform to showcase their talent and compete alongside established players.

The league was launched during a press conference at a hotel in Mohali on Monday by Sushil Sharma, Founder, T10 Cricket India Federation; Sushil Malik, Co-Founder and Director; and Shreya Prabhu, CEO of the Federation.

Former India wicketkeeper and former Chairman of the BCCI Selection Committee Kiran More has been appointed League Commissioner of the Super T10 League. Indian sportswear and sports equipment brand Shiv-Naresh has also joined the league as its Official Kit Partner.

The Super T10 League has been conceived to create greater opportunities for talented cricketers who may not otherwise get sufficient exposure at the professional level. The league plans to establish a structured talent identification and development pathway through trials, talent scouting networks and franchise-level development programmes.

As part of the launch, the organisers announced six city-based franchises: Mumbai Extreme, Delhi Legends, Bihar Yodhas, Chennai Kings, Bengaluru Thunders and UP Challengers.

As League Commissioner, Kiran More will oversee the league’s cricketing standards, player interests and administrative framework. Speaking on the occasion, More said India has no shortage of cricketing talent but needs more structured platforms where emerging players can be identified and given opportunities to prove themselves.

He said his focus would be on ensuring that the league’s cricketing standards, player interests and administrative systems remain aligned with its objectives.

Sushil Sharma, Founder, T10 Cricket India Federation, said the league aims to create more opportunities for talented cricketers to demonstrate their abilities and gain recognition. He said the fast-paced competition would allow emerging players to compete alongside established names while benefiting from professional administration and franchise support.

Sushil Malik, Co-Founder and Director, said the Federation had focused on developing the operational and administrative framework required to run the competition professionally. This includes franchise formation, regulatory compliance, player systems and broadcast planning.

Shiv-Naresh will provide playing and official kits for players, teams and match officials during the inaugural season. The partnership is the first major commercial association announced by the league, while discussions with additional sponsors and franchise partners are reportedly underway.

The Super T10 League will follow a city-based franchise model, with sponsorship and broadcast partnerships forming part of its commercial structure. The league also plans to use digital platforms to engage fans and connect with younger audiences.

Shreya Prabhu, CEO, T10 Cricket India Federation, is overseeing the franchise and administrative framework, including the development of city-based franchises, partnerships and regulatory compliance.

Formerly known as the Beyond Reach Premier League, the Super T10 League will operate under the T10 Cricket India Federation. According to the organisers, the league aims to create competitive and commercial opportunities for players, franchises and partners while developing a structured pathway for emerging cricketers in the T10 format.

The Federation is led by Sushil Sharma, Founder; Sushil Malik, Co-Founder and Director; and Shreya Prabhu, CEO, and is responsible for the league’s format, governance and operational framework.
