JAMMU, Sep 5: On the occasion of the completion of 70 glorious years of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), a special programme was organised at Suchetgarh to honour the officers and jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF) for their exemplary service, dedication and commitment towards safeguarding the nation.
The LIC team, led by Nidhey Gupta, State Head, LIC, and R.K. Nagar, Manager (Sales), LIC, along with the Branch Manager, R.S. Pura Branch, Manager CLIA, Development Officers and LIC Associates, visited Suchetgarh to express their gratitude and extend their heartfelt respects to the BSF personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, Nidhey Gupta, State Head, LIC, appreciated the courage, discipline and unwavering commitment of the BSF personnel who continue to perform their duties under challenging circumstances to protect the nation’s borders.
He said that while LIC has completed 70 years of serving the financial security needs of millions of Indians, the BSF has been serving the nation by standing steadfastly at its borders. Both institutions, in their respective spheres, remain committed to the larger cause of nation-building and service to the people.
R.K. Nagar, Manager (Sales), LIC, also conveyed his gratitude to the BSF officers and jawans and emphasised that their sacrifices and dedication are an inspiration for every citizen.
The LIC team felicitated the BSF personnel as a mark of respect and appreciation for their invaluable contribution to the security and integrity of the nation.
The programme beautifully reflected the spirit of “Nation First”, bringing together LIC’s seven decades of service and the BSF’s unwavering commitment to protecting the nation.
