KISHTWAR, Sep 5: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) President, Kishtwar, Rajesh Parihar, extended greetings and best wishes to the entire teaching fraternity on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In his message, Parihar appreciated the dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution of teachers towards shaping the future of students and strengthening society through education. He said that teachers play a vital role in nurturing young minds, imparting knowledge, instilling values and guiding students towards becoming responsible and productive citizens.
He expressed the hope that the teaching community would continue to inspire and empower future generations with dedication, sincerity and a strong sense of responsibility.
Referring to the recent unfortunate incident involving a school student in Chatroo, Parihar said that the teaching community was deeply saddened and ashamed by such an incident and stressed the need to ensure that such occurrences are never repeated.
“An isolated act by an individual should not undermine the dedication and integrity of the entire teaching fraternity. However, we must learn from such unfortunate incidents and make every possible effort to prevent their recurrence,” he said.
He further emphasized that students are like children of the teachers themselves and must always be treated with care, dignity, compassion and responsibility, just as parents treat their own children.
“Our Forum appeals to every teacher to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and moral responsibility. Students entrusted to us are our children, and their safety, dignity and well-being must always remain our foremost priority,” Parihar said.
He reiterated the JKTF’s commitment to supporting a safe, respectful and child-friendly educational environment across the district.
