RAJOURI, Sep 5: Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion, enthusiasm and joy in the border-area village of Ganyah in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district.
A special programme was organised with the active participation and support of children and teachers of Ganyah School, providing the young participants an opportunity to showcase their talent while strengthening their connection with Indian culture and traditions.
The children participated enthusiastically in the celebrations and presented various cultural and devotional activities. Their performances reflected their devotion towards Bhagwan Shri Krishna and their understanding of traditional values. The programme created a festive atmosphere in the village and was appreciated by those present.
The children who participated in the programme included Avinash, Simran, Arpana, Varun, Krish, Mannat Mahi, Rohit (Elder), Rohit (Younger), Manik, Manvi, Khushi, Samar, Mandeep, Anjana, Navjot, Pallav, Prince, Uday and Siya.
The organisers expressed gratitude to Teacher Shiv Sharma and Shakti Sharma for their valuable guidance, support and contribution towards making the Janmashtami programme successful. Their efforts helped encourage the children to actively participate in cultural and spiritual activities.
The celebration also highlighted the importance of involving children in programmes that promote Indian culture, traditions and moral values. The enthusiasm, talent and dedication displayed by the young participants were described as a positive indication of the bright future of Ganyah village.
The programme concluded with prayers for the well-being, happiness, success and prosperity of all the children and villagers, with participants extending greetings of Radhe Radhe and Jai Shri Krishna.
