BJP OBC Morcha Udhampur reviews organisation, calls for stronger grassroots outreach

UDHAMPUR, Aug 31: BJP OBC Morcha, District Udhampur, organised an organisational meeting at Sunadi, jointly hosted by Jib Ramble Mandal and Krimchi Mandal, to review the party’s organisational activities and chalk out strategies for further strengthening its grassroots presence.

The meeting was organised under the directions of Ravi Kumar Abrol, Prabhari, District Udhampur, and Sagar Verma, District President, BJP OBC Morcha, Udhampur.

The meeting was attended by senior BJP leaders, office-bearers, mandal presidents, OBC community representatives and party workers. Those present included Kuldeep Kumar Prajapati and Ashok Kumar Bandral, General Secretaries; Ravi Kumar, Mandal Pardhan, Jib Ramble; Rakesh Kumar, Mandal Pardhan, Krimchi; Bhushan Kumar, Mandal Pardhan, Mongari; Raj Kumar, Mandal Pardhan, Tikri Malhar; and Sourav Kumar, Mandal Pardhan, Jaganoo, besides other leaders and workers.

Detailed discussions were held on strengthening the organisation at the booth and mandal levels, improving coordination among office-bearers and workers, expanding outreach among OBC communities and taking the policies and welfare initiatives of the Central Government to the grassroots.

The speakers emphasised that a strong booth-level organisation is essential for effective public outreach. Workers were urged to maintain regular contact with people, understand their concerns and facilitate access to government welfare and development schemes for eligible beneficiaries.

Addressing the gathering, Ravi Kumar Abrol said organisational meetings provide an important platform to assess the progress of the party and identify areas requiring greater attention. He called upon OBC Morcha workers to work with unity, dedication and commitment towards the welfare of the OBC community.

Abrol said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has focused on development, social empowerment and inclusive growth, with attention to weaker and marginalised sections, including OBC communities. He urged workers to strengthen booth-level structures and take the achievements and welfare-oriented initiatives of the government to every household.

In his message, Braham Jyot Satti, State President, BJP OBC Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, appreciated the efforts of the Udhampur unit and stressed the importance of continuous grassroots engagement. He said the strength of the BJP lies in its dedicated cadre and direct connect with the people.

Satti called upon OBC Morcha workers to act as a bridge between the government and the community by highlighting genuine public concerns and creating awareness about welfare schemes. He stressed greater participation of OBC community members in organisational activities and urged workers to take the message of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” to the grassroots.

The meeting concluded with the participants reaffirming their commitment to strengthening BJP OBC Morcha in District Udhampur, expanding its organisational reach and working for the welfare and empowerment of all sections of society.
