HANDWARA, Aug 27: State Bank of India (SBI), Handwara Branch, under the aegis of Region-IV, Srinagar Administrative Office, Jammu, organised a Pan-India CSR Plantation Activity at the Court Complex, Handwara.
As part of the nationwide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, around 400 saplings were planted and distributed at the Court Complex, with the objective of promoting environmental sustainability, enhancing green cover and spreading awareness about the importance of ecological conservation.
The initiative highlights SBI’s commitment towards environmental responsibility and community welfare, while encouraging collective participation in building a greener, cleaner and healthier environment.
The plantation drive also reinforces the message that sustainable development is a shared responsibility and that every effort towards increasing green cover can contribute to a better future.
