JAMMU, Aug 22: Rich Harvest School hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Cyber Safety and Security” aimed at sensitising educators about emerging cyber threats and promoting responsible and secure use of digital technology.
The programme featured Jatinder Kour, PGT, Army Public School, Jammu Cantt and Kharbanda, Headmistress, Army Public School, Janglot, as resource persons. They shared valuable insights and practical strategies related to cyber security, online safety, data protection, cyberbullying, phishing, digital privacy and responsible digital behaviour.
The sessions were interactive, informative and engaging, with participants actively contributing through discussions and sharing experiences. The resource persons effectively connected the subject with real-life situations encountered by teachers and students in today’s increasingly digital educational environment.
The programme also emphasised the important role of educators in creating awareness among students and fostering a culture of safe, responsible and ethical digital citizenship.
The Head of Institute Ms Anita Bhatia expressed appreciation to the resource persons and all participants for their valuable contribution towards making the programme meaningful and impactful.
