KATHUA, Aug 21: In a thrilling final match of the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Cup, the U-15 Boys Hockey Team of District Kathua emerged victorious by defeating Pulwama 3-2 at Khel Gaon, Nagrota.
The young players from Kathua displayed excellent teamwork, sportsmanship and determination throughout the tournament. The final match was action-packed and kept spectators on the edge of their seats till the last whistle.
The team was guided by. Chanveer Singh, Coach and Guljinder Singh, Manager, whose efforts played a key role in this success.
The Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K has congratulated the winning team, coaches, and officials on this outstanding achievement and wished them success in future competitions.
Sh. Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Kathua & Dharminder Singh Shally (Activity Incharg)also lauded the efforts of the players, coaches and supporting staff for bringing laurels to the district.
