JAMMU, Aug 18: Senior BJP leader and former Sarpanch Adv Devraj Sharma today welcomed the new team of BJP National President Nitin Nabin, expressing confidence that the newly constituted team would further strengthen the organisation and take the Bharatiya Janata Party to new heights across the country.
In a statement issued here, Sharma congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and extended his best wishes to them for their new responsibilities. He said that the constitution of a new team reflects the BJP’s tradition of continuously strengthening its organisational structure and providing opportunities to dedicated and committed workers to serve the party and the nation.
Adv Devraj Sharma said he was confident that under the leadership and guidance of BJP National President Nitin Nabin, the new team would work with dedication, discipline and commitment to further expand the party’s organisational network and ideological outreach. He expressed hope that the new office-bearers would take forward the BJP’s policies, programmes and ideology to every section of society and further deepen the party’s connect with people at the grassroots level.
He also paid rich tribute to the outgoing office-bearers whose responsibilities have now been changed or who have been replaced in the new organisational arrangement. Sharma said that the contribution of the outgoing leaders can never be overlooked, as they worked tirelessly to strengthen the party organisation and carried the party’s ideology, programmes and achievements of the government to every nook and corner of the country.
“The outgoing office-bearers have rendered wonderful service to the party. They worked with dedication and travelled extensively to connect with workers and the people. Their efforts played an important role in strengthening the organisation and communicating the vision, policies and welfare initiatives of the government among the masses,” Sharma said.
He emphasised that in the BJP, organisational responsibilities are not merely positions but opportunities to serve the nation and strengthen the party at every level. According to him, the spirit of discipline, dedication and collective responsibility remains the biggest strength of the party.
Sharma said the BJP has grown into a strong and extensive political organisation because of the hard work of countless workers and leaders who have devoted themselves to strengthening the party from the booth level to the national level. He maintained that every office-bearer, whether continuing in the new team or moving to a different responsibility, has made valuable contributions to the organisation.
The senior BJP leader further said that the new team must build upon the strong foundation created by its predecessors and work with renewed energy to reach out to the people, listen to their concerns and ensure that the benefits of government welfare and development programmes reach the intended beneficiaries.
He expressed confidence that the new leadership team would give fresh momentum to organisational activities, strengthen coordination between the party leadership and grassroots workers and further expand the BJP’s presence across the country.
