JAMMU, Aug 15: The Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.
The programme began with Flag Hoisting by the Seniormost Member and Jt. Secretary Er. Vijay Gupta, followed by the National Anthem. The elderly residents actively participated in the celebrations.
Manju Kumari and Sneh Prabha Inmates shared inspiring thoughts about the nation, motivating fellow residents with messages of unity, positivity and patriotism.
Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary, interacted and motivated the inmates, highlighting the importance of freedom, unity and remembering the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
The celebrations were attended by Vijay Dhawan, Sat Pal Sharma, Dr. Ritesh Gupta, Sudha Gupta Committee Members, all Inmates and staff members of the Home.
