JAMMU, Aug 13: Inspired by the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate the spirit of the national flag through the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a Tiranga Yatra was organised today at the Government College of Education, Jammu.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of students, teachers and members of the college staff, who carried the Tricolour and joined the Yatra with patriotic fervour.
Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal, Government College of Education, Jammu, highlighted the importance of engaging the youth in activities that strengthen their connection with the nation.
She said that the initiative aimed to nurture a sense of national pride and responsibility among the youth, while encouraging them to understand that every citizen has an important role to play in nation-building.
The Tiranga Yatra also served as an opportunity to sensitise students about their responsibilities towards the country and inspire them to contribute positively towards society and the nation.
The enthusiastic participation of students, teachers and staff reflected the spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility, while reinforcing the values associated with the Tricolour and the importance of active participation in nation-building.
