HIRANAGAR, Aug 12: Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K, Anuradha Gupta, accompanied by Deputy Director Planning, Megha Vogia, today visited Sports Stadium Hiranagar to assess the existing sports infrastructure and review various developmental issues related to the stadium.
During the visit, the officers inspected the available facilities and held detailed discussions on the requirements, challenges and measures needed for the smooth functioning and future development of the sports infrastructure.
MLA Hiranagar, Vijay Kumar, also participated in the discussions and apprised the Director General of various issues and requirements concerning the Sports Stadium Hiranagar. The deliberations focused on improving sports facilities and strengthening infrastructure for local players and youth.
District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Kathua, Sunil Kumar, briefed the Director General about the existing facilities, ongoing sports activities and various requirements of the stadium.
The visit reaffirmed the department’s commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure across Jammu & Kashmir and providing better, modern and accessible facilities to young athletes and emerging sporting talent.
