SHOPIAN, Aug 11: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026, a grand Tiranga Bike Rally was held in Shopian on Tuesday to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and encourage citizens to proudly display and honour the National Flag.
The rally was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Shishir Gupta, and SSP Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary, who also joined the rally and rode alongside the participants, leading the patriotic procession through the town.
The event was attended by senior district officers, police officers and officials from various departments.
The rally commenced from District Police Lines (DPL), Shopian, and passed through the designated route covering Batapora Bus Stand, Four Way Chowk, Clock Tower, Hospital Road and Police Station Road, before returning via Batapora Bus Stand and culminating at DPL, Shopian.
The rally was organised jointly by the District and Police administration shopian.
