JAMMU, Aug 9: The J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, representing 80+ CBSE schools across the Jammu region, to promote career guidance, financial literacy and awareness about the Chartered Accountancy profession among school students.
The MoU was signed in the presence of CA Amit Gupta, Chairman; CA Sanchit Aggarwal, Secretary; CA Sourav Pargal, Immediate Past Chairman; and CA Ayush Sawhney, Executive Member, J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI, along with Dr. Atul Hans, President, and Sanjeev Pradhan, General Secretary, Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, and several other members of the Sahodaya community.
The collaboration will facilitate career counselling, financial literacy programmes and awareness sessions across participating schools, giving students greater exposure to opportunities in Chartered Accountancy, finance, taxation, accounting, business and entrepreneurship.
The initiative marks an important step towards strengthening collaboration between the education and professional communities and helping students make informed career choices for their future.
