JAMMU, Aug 2: The Oncology Parliament initiative, envisioned by Dr. Deepak Abrol, Senior Cancer Specialist from Jammu, is receiving an overwhelming response across the country, with Onco Assemblies being organised in various cities to promote cancer awareness and prevention among the youth.

The initiative is being organised by Lajwanti Bhagatnath Radiations of Hope – A Cancer Care Foundation Trust, in collaboration with American Oncology Institute, ASCOMS Jammu, and the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), with support from J&K Bank.

As part of the preparations for the Cancer Research and Awareness Bonanza (CRAB-E-CON Cancer Convention), scheduled from October 2 to 4, an Onco Assembly was held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, through the efforts of Dr. Bharti Devnani, Faculty, AIIMS Jodhpur.
