JAMMU, Jul 5: With a firm commitment to the preservation, promotion, and wider propagation of Sanskrit the divine language Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Jammu, and a recipient of the State Award, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Karan Singh at Karan Mahal, Srinagar. During the meeting, they held detailed discussions on the revival of the Sanskrit language and the preservation of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Mahant Rohit Shastri stated that Dr. Karan Singh has been a distinguished torchbearer of Indian culture, philosophy, and Sanskrit literature. He said that the Maharaja’s guidance serves as a great source of inspiration for the younger generation and provides renewed momentum to the movement for the revival of Sanskrit. On the occasion, Mahant Shastri also presented books published by the Trust to Dr. Karan Singh.
Mahant Rohit Shastri also praised the initiative of Shri Raghunath Ji Aarti Sansthan, Jammu, for commencing the regular Aarti at Shri Raghunath Temple, describing it as a historic and inspiring step towards preserving Sanatan culture and religious traditions. He congratulated the Chairperson of the Sansthan Dr. Ritu Singh, and appreciated her dedicated leadership and commitment to this noble cause.
On this occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri also acknowledged the dedicated support and valuable cooperation of Shri Gangadhar Ji, Private Secretary to Maharaja Dr. Karan Singh, and described his contribution as highly commendable.

Concluding the meeting, Mahant Rohit Shastri requested Maharaja Dr. Karan Singh to continue providing his valuable guidance and active support for the renaissance and revival of Sanskrit.
