SRINAGAR, Jul 4: Mahant Rohit Shastri called on Manoj Sinha and discussed various issues related to the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit language and Vedic studies in the Union Territory.
During the meeting, Mahant Rohit Shastri expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for the creation of Sanskrit faculty posts at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. He appreciated the initiative, stating that it would strengthen Sanskrit education, promote India’s rich cultural heritage and encourage academic research in Vedic studies across the region.
